I recognized all three Heisman finalists this season on award ballots. Klein made the College Football Universe All-America Team and I nominated him as an FWAA All-American as well. Manziel was my vote for the Maxwell and Te'o was my selection for the Bednarik Award.
A USA Today headline read earlier this week on Tuesday, "Heisman Trophy race too close to call", but it does not appear to be as close as they projected.
CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd made his ballot public.
Dodd wrote, "What? He (Manziel) is this year's Cam Newton because he has legs, he creates plays and -- oh yeah -- he beat Cammy Cam Cam's SEC total offense record. Have we lost our minds? Two years ago, despite all the controversy, Newton was still being called one of the best players of all time."
The site StiffArmTrophy.com has been correct on projecting the Heisman Trophy winner in ten out of ten attempts. They currently have Johnny Manziel with a strong lead. Every major poll has Manziel projected to win the Heisman Trophy.
