Notre Dame (8-0) faces Pittsburgh (4-4) at home this weekend. Pitt is only rated 94th and USC is currently 19th in the Sagarin BCS Ratings so a strong advantage goes to the Ducks over the Irish this weekend in strength of opponent. An Oregon win also hurts Notre Dame more than one way since USC is the Irish's strongest opponent left on the schedule.
Of course, if LSU (7-1) upsets Alabama (8-0), look for the top five to be scrambled, because of the various scenarios of how voters and the computers may rank the Tigers.
If Georgia (7-1) defeats Ole Miss (5-3) and all other favorites win, then the Bulldogs will be in the top five of the BCS Standings. They are currently at six and a loss by BCS No. 5 LSU would open up a spot for Georgia.
